Accessibility statement · 16 September 2026

Our approach.

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We design for keyboard use, visible focus, readable contrast, useful page structure, zoom and reduced-motion preferences.

Using this website.

You should be able to navigate with a keyboard, skip directly to the main content, zoom without losing essential information and understand links and headings without relying on colour alone. The site uses text alternatives for meaningful images and hides decorative artwork from assistive technology.

Known limits.

Deckmates is still in development and we have not yet completed an independent accessibility audit with disabled users. Some animated decorative elements may still need further testing across browsers and assistive technology. App screenshots can show interface text that is not fully available as webpage text, although nearby copy explains their purpose.

Tell us what is getting in the way.

If you cannot access something, email hello@deckmates.uk. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, the device or assistive technology you used and the format or adjustment that would help. We will acknowledge the issue and work towards a practical response.

As Deckmates grows.

We will test the website and app as features change, include accessibility in design and development decisions, and update this statement when we learn about significant issues or complete formal testing.
